Tomorrow

Are you ready for tomorrow?
Do you know what it will bring?
It brings a future full of mystery;
Things still yet unseen.

Take advantage of today;
For it may be your last.
Don't put it off for unknown tomorrows,
Or you may be living in the past.

Use the time to make a difference,
in someone elses life.
Whether it be a stranger on the street,
or your loving friends and wife.

This is a simple task.
You can do it with just a smile.
For that is something quite contagious;
And will spread over a mile.

Tell the ones you're closest to,
"I love you" in their ear.
Or you may find that tomorrow,
Your words they will not hear.

The thing about tomorrow you see,
is that it is always unknown.
You could wake up to the morning sun,
and find yourself alone.

This poem was written after hearing of a car accident a good friend and his wife were in. Luckily and surprisingly, they both came out uninjured, but the thought of loosing someone dear is a painful one. So live each day to it's fullest, and let those you care about know before it's too late.
